Some websites for commerce and industry are simple brochure sites, while others extend their owerners’ physical shop or mail order catalogue. Some have sprung up as online-only shops. For the more complex shops we prefer the Shopify platform over WordPress.

Phoenix Antiques: beautiful antique shop in Tunbridge Wells
Phoenix Antiques’s owners Robert and Peter wanted to keep the original website design their customers loved. But Weebly, their platform at the time, would not allow them to improve the functionality. They regularly upload antiques for sale to a broaden their customer base beyond their physical shop.
We reproduced the design in WordPress and adapted it for mobile devices. We created a system of adding sale items by category, including stunning expanding image galleries, with an easy switch to a Sold page.
Field & Moor: quality outdoor footwear
James Waddell has bravely launched an online-only business in the middle of the pandemic: British-designed, high-quality outdoor leather boots aimed at the top end of the market.
The website uses a Shopify theme modified to suit the brand. Adding products and their size variations is easy, and apps extend the native functionality to include marketing, currencty converter and a Back in Stock option.
Rosie's Garden Plants: plants by mail order
Jacqueline Aviolet, aka Rosie’s Garden Plants, has sold perennials, shrubs, hardy gernaniums and roses by mail order for many years. This website has enabled to take her catalogue online.
Plants are purchased by contacting Jacqueline direct, rather than through the website. She also gives lively talks on plant-related topics including remotely via Zoom.
Whitstable Psychotherapy: psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for adults and children
Stephen Bradley is a London-trained psychoanalytic psychotherapist whose consulting room is in Whitstable, Kent.
Stephen offers treatment for adults and children as well as supervision for psychotherapists in training. His website demonstrates the breadth of his work and provides contact details and a map.
