Websites for musicians and performers vary in their need to offer ticketing facilities or track downloads. All need a bright layout with excellent imagery to showcase their work. This section includes music teaching.

Jenni Roditi: composer, performer, choir leader and writer
Jenni decided on a single website to bring together the different strands of her musical career. Composing, performing, improvisation and vocal tai chi form just some of her vast body of work.
Video clips showcase some of her film work and her scores are available here to. The website is designed to gladden the eye and heart.
Garlinge Theatre
The Garlinge Theatre is a small but fully operational perfomance space just outside Canterbury, in Kent. Since opening in March 2024, it has played host to a variety of events,
including live music, original plays and musicals, presentations,
comedy and filming.
Their website is designed to advertise and showcase their performances and sell tickets.
Philharmonischer Verein Frankfurt
The website for this amateur orchestra in Frankfurt (Germany) was in need of an upgrade. They wanted a more attractive, modern website that would display properly on mobiles.
We imported it from Joomla to WordPress, overhauled the design and created special areas for advertising forthcoming concerts. A nice “accordion” section houses previous concert information going back to the year 2000.
Tenterden Operatic and Dramatic Society (TODS)
TODS wanted an updated design and expanded functionality to revamp their amdram website. This fresh layout, enhanced by some superb photography, was a joint effort with TODS’ publicity officer Susanne Buckley.
Applegreen implemented Susanne’s vision with a bespoke theme and added events and productions pages, special galleries for cast headshots and updatable links to the online ticket facility. We also made space for a vast online archive celebrating 60 years of the drama company’s work.
Darius Brubeck: jazz musician, composer and teacher
A fresh modern update for Darius Brubeck, who runs a jazz quartet that mirrors that of his famous father Dave. All over the UK and internationally, the Darius Brubeck Quartet perform the jazz music composed by Dave and other greats as well as their own compositions. Darius is occasionally joined from across the pond by Darius’s brothers Chris and Dan.

Nick Bicât, composer and songwriter for film, TV and more
Nick Bicât wrote the score for the 1984 movie A Christmas Carol, as well as The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Reflecting Skin and many more.
Through the website he is able to sell CDs, whole-album downloads, individual tracks and sheet music. Customers can listen to a short sample of each track, giving them a flavour of the music while protecting tracks from illegal recording.
Sales and online payments are handled through the website.
Marion Robertson Music: music teaching for adults and children
Marion Robertson teaches piano and recorders to children from a very young age using the Suzuki method. She also teaches adults and runs ensemble groups.
Informing prospective students of her techniques, and giving information on term times and concerts, are just a few uses to which she puts this lively website.
